5 Questions to Realign Your Week
Every week, I ask myself (5) simple questions. They aren’t complicated, but they are powerful.
1. What matters most right now?
Not next month or next year. Right now.
Many people become overwhelmed because they treat every responsibility as equally important.
Every responsibility is not the same.
2. What am I giving too much attention to?
Sometimes the biggest source of progress is not adding something, but removing something.
3. What am I avoiding?
The answer is often the thing that matters most.
- Difficult conversations.
- Hard decisions.
- Important work.
Growth usually hides behind resistance.
4. What should I let go of?
- Old assumptions.
- Unnecessary obligations.
- Perfectionism.
- Regret.
You can’t create space for what’s next if you’re still carrying what no longer belongs.
5. Who am I becoming?
This might be the most important question of all because your daily decisions eventually become your identity.
AI can help us answer questions faster, but it can’t answer the most important questions for us.
Only reflection can do that.
And reflection requires something increasingly rare in today’s world: silence.
Don't speed up, slow down
The next time you feel lost, overwhelmed, or stuck, resist the urge to speed up.
Slow down. Then ask better questions.
